Michael has been awarded two of the nation’s top dance artist residencies: a Jacob’s Pillow Lab Residency in October 2022 and at the National Center for Choreography at Akron in January 2023 to develop the Garden of the Wilis performance collaboration with George de la Peña, Hyeyung Sol Yoon, and Asher Hartman.
